Conditions We Treat · One Tree Integrative Medicine
You've been through
the system already.
It didn't have answers.
Most of the people who come to One Tree have already seen multiple specialists. They’ve had the standard tests. They’ve been told their results are normal — or been handed a diagnosis without an explanation of why their body got here in the first place.
We treat conditions that are complex, chronic, and often misunderstood. Not by managing the symptom — by investigating what’s actually driving it.
Does this sound familiar?
- You've seen 3 or more doctors and still don't have a clear answer
- Your labs come back "normal" but you feel anything but
- You've been told it's stress, anxiety, or getting older
- You have a diagnosis — but the treatment isn't working
- Your symptoms move or shift and no one can explain why
- You're managing symptoms but no one has asked what caused them
If any of these are true, you are exactly who this practice was built for. You don't need to justify yourself here — we already believe you.
Our Approach to Chronic Conditions
We don't treat diagnoses. We investigate how your body got there.
Chronic and complex conditions rarely have a single cause — and they rarely respond to treatment that only addresses the surface. We look deeper: at what triggered the condition, what’s sustaining it, and what your body actually needs to shift.
You Are Not Broken
The frustration of being dismissed, misdiagnosed, or undertreated is real — and it’s not a reflection of your body failing. It’s a reflection of a system that wasn’t designed to investigate complexity. Here at One Tree, we are. Your history matters. Your symptoms are real. We start there.
Everything Is Connected
Gut dysfunction drives immune dysfunction drives hormonal imbalance drives mood disruption drives fatigue. Chronic conditions don’t respect specialty lines — and neither does our investigation. We look at the whole picture, because your body never stopped being one system.
You're Part of the Investigation
You have information no test can capture — what you’ve tried, what helped briefly, what made things worse, what changed before you started feeling this way. That knowledge is clinically valuable. We want all of it. You’re a partner here, not a patient file.
What we see most — and how we approach it.
Each condition below is written from the patient’s experience first, not the clinical textbook. Because that’s how people arrive here — not with a diagnosis in hand, but with a lived experience that hasn’t been taken seriously yet.
Autoimmune Conditions
“My immune system is attacking me and no one can tell me why — or what triggered it in the first place.”
Autoimmune conditions occur when the immune system misfires — attacking the body’s own tissues instead of external threats. There are more than 100 recognized types, from Hashimoto’s to rheumatoid arthritis to lupus to celiac disease. What they share: inflammation, a body that’s no longer working with itself, and a conventional treatment approach that manages the immune response without asking what destabilized it.
We ask the question most practices skip: what triggered the immune system to turn against itself? Environmental exposures, gut permeability, chronic infections, hormonal disruption, toxic burden — these are often the upstream factors. Finding them changes what treatment looks like entirely.
What We Investigate
Gut permeability and microbiome status · Inflammatory markers beyond standard panels · Hormonal contributions · Environmental and toxic triggers · Nutritional deficiencies that sustain immune dysregulation

Chronic Fatigue
“I sleep for 9 hours and wake up exhausted. I’ve been told it’s depression, stress, or just getting older. None of those answers fit.”
Fatigue that doesn’t respond to rest isn’t a lifestyle problem — it’s a signal. The body doesn’t exhaust itself without reason. Chronic fatigue can stem from mitochondrial dysfunction, thyroid dysregulation, adrenal imbalance, viral reactivation, nutrient depletion, chronic low-grade infection, or gut microbiome disruption — often several of these in combination.
Conventional workups rarely look deeply enough. A TSH within “normal range” doesn’t rule out thyroid dysfunction. A negative ANA doesn’t rule out autoimmune contributions. We run the panels that actually reveal what’s depleting your energy at the cellular level.
What We Investigate
Thyroid (full panel, not just TSH) · Adrenal function · Viral and bacterial reactivation · Mitochondrial markers · Nutrient status (B12, D3, iron, ferritin) · Sleep architecture · Gut health and absorption
Chronic Pain
“The pain keeps coming back. I’ve done the physical therapy, tried the medications. Something is maintaining it that no one has found.”
Chronic pain that persists after injury has healed — or that appeared without a clear structural cause — often involves the nervous system itself. Old scars, unresolved trauma sites, and autonomic dysfunction can create persistent “interference fields” that maintain pain signaling long after the original injury is gone.
We approach chronic pain by investigating its source architecture. Neural therapy directly addresses autonomic interference fields. Peptide therapy supports tissue healing and reduces neurological inflammation. Biofeedback identifies the stress patterns sustaining pain cycles. We look for what’s maintaining the signal — and address that.
What We Investigate
Autonomic nervous system dysregulation · Scar and interference field mapping · Inflammatory drivers · Nutritional contributors to nerve function · Gut-brain pain axis · Hormonal contributions to pain sensitivity
Hormonal & Menopausal
“I feel like a stranger in my own body. The mood swings, the sleep, the weight — I keep being told this is just part of aging. I don’t accept that.”
Hormonal imbalance doesn’t announce itself with a single clear symptom. It shows up as fatigue, weight resistance, sleep disruption, brain fog, mood instability, low libido, and a general sense of not feeling like yourself — often dismissed as stress, depression, or “a normal part of aging.”
Bioidentical hormone therapy uses hormones molecularly identical to your own — not synthetic approximations. Before prescribing anything, we run comprehensive baseline labs and take a full history. The goal isn’t to get you to “normal range.” It’s to find what your body specifically needs to function well.
What We Investigate
Full hormone panel (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, cortisol) · Thyroid (complete) · Adrenal function · Metabolic markers · Sleep and circadian disruption · Gut health’s role in hormone metabolism
Gut & Digestive Health
“I’ve eliminated gluten, dairy, and half my diet. I still feel terrible after meals. Something is wrong that diet changes aren’t reaching.”
Gut dysfunction is rarely just about digestion. A disrupted microbiome drives systemic inflammation, weakens immune function, disrupts neurotransmitter production, and contributes to conditions throughout the body — including many that don’t seem “digestive” at all. Brain fog, skin issues, fatigue, joint pain, and mood disorders can all trace upstream to gut health.
We use microbiome mapping, food intolerance panels, intestinal permeability testing, and a complete picture of your digestive environment to find what “eat better” advice couldn’t reach. This isn’t a dietary overhaul conversation — it’s a systematic investigation.
What We Investigate
Comprehensive microbiome mapping · Intestinal permeability (leaky gut) testing · Food intolerance and sensitivity panels · SIBO assessment · Digestive enzyme function · Gut-brain axis and neurological contributions
Anxiety & Trauma
“I’ve done the therapy, the mindfulness, the medication. I understand my anxiety intellectually. My body hasn’t gotten the message.”
Anxiety and trauma aren’t only psychological — they’re physiological. The nervous system stores what the mind has processed and moved past. Chronic nervous system dysregulation, HPA axis disruption, and unresolved somatic patterns can maintain anxiety and trauma responses long after the original event. Talk therapy reaches the mind. Body-centered care reaches where it lives.
We combine biofeedback to identify and address autonomic nervous system dysregulation, HBLU for mind-body-spirit pattern clearing, and a full physiological investigation — because hormonal imbalance, gut-brain axis disruption, and nutrient depletion can all amplify anxiety significantly.
What We Investigate
HPA axis and cortisol patterns · Neurotransmitter precursor status · Autonomic nervous system tone · Gut-brain axis health · Hormonal contributions to anxiety · Somatic holding patterns and interference fields
Metabolic Health & Weight
“I eat well, I exercise. The weight doesn’t move. I’ve been told to try harder — but something physiological is working against me.”
Metabolic resistance isn’t a willpower problem. Hormonal disruption, thyroid dysfunction, insulin dysregulation, gut microbiome imbalance, chronic inflammation, and cortisol dysregulation can all make weight loss physiologically difficult regardless of caloric intake. Treating this as a lifestyle issue ignores the underlying biology.
We investigate the metabolic picture comprehensively — identifying what’s driving resistance and building a protocol that addresses the biology first. Peptide therapy, hormonal optimization, and targeted gut health interventions often play key roles in restoring metabolic function.
What We Investigate
Comprehensive thyroid panel · Fasting insulin and glucose dynamics · Inflammatory markers · Hormonal profile (cortisol, sex hormones) · Gut microbiome composition · Mitochondrial function · Sleep and metabolic regulation
Don't see your condition here?
This isn’t a comprehensive list — it’s where we most commonly see patients arriving. If you’re dealing with something complex, chronic, or that hasn’t responded to conventional care, reach out. If it falls within our scope, we’ll tell you honestly. If it doesn’t, we’ll point you toward someone who can help.
You Are Not Alone
The patients who arrive here have almost always been somewhere else first.
Chronic, complex conditions are among the most undertreated categories in medicine — not because treatments don’t exist, but because the standard system wasn’t designed to investigate them deeply. Being dismissed doesn’t mean you’re wrong about your body. It means you haven’t found the right practice yet.
Every person who comes to One Tree has a story about what they went through before getting here. We’ve heard versions of it hundreds of times. That experience is part of why Dr. Jamie built this practice — so that “I’ve already tried everything” becomes the starting point, not the ending one.

How we move from "I don't know what's wrong" to an actual plan.
Chronic conditions rarely reveal themselves in a single visit. Our process is designed for depth — not speed. Here’s how it works from first contact to an individualized protocol.
01
Free 40-Min Consultation
A no-pressure visit to hear your history, understand your goals, and tell you honestly whether One Tree is the right fit. No commitment. No intake forms. Just a conversation.
02
Deep-Dive Intake (60+ min)
A full 60–90 minute appointment covering your complete health history, everything you’ve tried, what helped briefly, what made things worse, and what life was like before you started feeling this way. We want the whole picture.
03
Comprehensive Investigation
Advanced lab work and functional testing tailored to your specific case — not a standard checklist. We look at what your previous providers ran, identify the gaps, and test for what’s actually relevant to your history.
04
Your Individualized Plan
A protocol built around what we actually find — not a generic template. Combining the right services, in the right sequence, with clear explanations for why each piece is there. Adjusted as your body responds and new information emerges.
